Habitat For Humanity Canada

Project Description

The team at Tribal was tasked with a complete overhaul of the Habitat For Humanity Canada web prosperities - a main website, a website for Global Village (their trip / fundraiser portion) and a website for ReStore (their sale of used goods / donations). Through thorough content discovery and stakeholder research, we came up with an approach that combined all 3 websites into a cohesive, interlinked site.

I was responsible for leading the team who built a full pattern library based on their offline print standards, creating a repository for the brand to use and train all the local branches. We conducted interviews with prospective consumers and well as past trip fundraisers. The system had to integrate with third party tools to collect fundraising donations, facilitate trip coordination and create profiles for each participant automatically.

The team produced the design over 14 design sprints and we worked alongside the internal client team on a weekly basis to validate the design. The website was built on the principals of atomic design and developed using components to allow the team at Habitat to create pages on the fly.
